Good news- the new pavilion is on its way!

Funding of £170,000 has been raised through a mixture of club fund raising, grant applications, DMBC Green Space funding and local Parish Council support, after some very hard work by the Sports Association. Many thanks to these bodies for their support and commitment.

The new pavilion will be a high quality modular building (see the design here) and once it is open, it will require careful management of the physical building, in terms of security and maintenance, but also in terms of ongoing finance for the upkeep. There will be significant costs associated with the running of the building, such as physical upkeep, water, electric and sewage rates, all of which have been carefully considered as part of the business plan submitted to DMBC. Nevertheless, ongoing fund raising will be needed to maintain and enhance the quality of the facility and we would welcome any support people can offer!
